Goddess of Insight Sotoorihime revealed on Vanguard YouTube channel

The official Japanese Cardfight!! Vanguard channel revealed a new Oracle Think Tank grade 2 today, Goddess of Insight Sotoorihime.
AUTO [Rearguard Circle]: When it attacks a vanguard, by paying [Cost: Counterblast 1], draw 1 card, discard 1 card from your hand, this unit gets Power +6000 until end of turn, and if your vanguard is grade 3 or greater, look at 1 card from the top of your deck, and place it on the top or bottom of your deck.
Sotoorihime's skill allows you to filter out lower-shield and previously drive checked cards to keep the opponent unaware of what your hand is, while powering up CEO Amaterasu through her autoskill and making Sotoorihime a 15 base that can easily become a 22-23k column for the purposes of taking shield away. Because of her mandatory discard she's a wash in terms of card advantage, gaining a card to give up a card, and while in the long term you'll gain more advantage by conserving your counterblast for Amaterasu's ACT, Sotoorihime's offense should not be dismissed. Thinking exclusively defensively is a good way to survive, but won't push the opponent into a corner, whereas using Sotoorihime to make the right columns with Farfalle Magus or Mizunohame will push them into a situation where they can't guard.

With this, the Oracle Think Tank grade 2 lineup is now shaping up as...
Grade 2
x4 Yellow Witch, MeMe
x4 Goddess of Insight Sotoorihime
x4 Weather Girl, Saft
However, we must keep in mind that Silent Tom is also getting a remake in BT01, and is a likely candidate for Oracle Think Tank's RRR grade 2, just like High Dog Breeder Akane and Berserk Dragon. Tom will probably be a staple in the deck, leaving the question of what we should cut--MeMe, whose on-place skill encourages you to conserve her early for Amaterasu turns? Sotoorihime, who siphons off additional counterblast from the deck for offense? Saft, who serves the same offensive purpose as Sotoorihime but takes away soul instead?

Bushiroad evidently thinks it's Saft, else she wouldn't be a Common while the rest are Single Rares, but redundancy is important in deckbuilding and on-place effects are genuinely restrictive to maintaining an offensive from beginning to end. Sotoorihime and Saft's skills are repeatable across multiple turns, with the latter getting another shot at using her effect every time you reride for another Protect marker.
